ITP helped a large custodian bank build a managed accounts outsourcing platform by seamlessly integrating order routing and trade allocation capabilities into the bank’s existing platform. The service captures all orders from the client’s order management systems via FIX and routes them to top-tier execution venues as sponsor-directed trades or step-outs. The service captures all trade execution information from the broker, normalizes the information to FIX, and transmits it back to the bank’s order management systems. Upon execution, the order management systems create the necessary trade allocations and passes them to ITP for transformation and routing to the appropriate sponsor via Omgeo, FIX, or proprietary format. The service allows the outsourcer to provide a flexible and seamless connectivity service to any of its investment manager clients, regardless of the client’s order management platform.
Large Regional Trust Bank
ITP implemented ITP MATS for a large Trust Bank looking to streamline trading across their trust account business. As part of the implementation, ITP MATS captures tax lot order information from the bank’s rebalancing platform, consolidates these orders into blocks, and routes them via FIX to the desired trading destinations. Once the trades are executed, ITP MATS matches the executions with the individual tax lots and passes the account allocations directly to the bank’s accounting platforms, all in real time.
